Overview 

With Talis Elevate, you can rollover your content from one year/semester course to another using the standard 'site copy' approach used in your VLE. We have a setting in Talis Elevate that only shows class comments made during the start/end date of the module, as set in the Module Manager. If your class comments are not showing, it is highly likely that your start/end date hasn't been updated. 

How to update this 

1. Login to app.talis.com to access the Module Manager 

2. Select the module in question 

3. Click the three dots menu on the right and click 'Edit Module'

4. Adjust the start/end dates and click 'Save'

Why do we do this? 

Rollover is an important part of the academic process. We aim to make this as simple as possible for you, so ensuring you can copy all your content over and it will still work is the highest priority for us. 

To ensure this works, we maintain and 'use' the same module code regardless of the year of study. We therefore show/hide the comments based on your start and end date. 

By doing this, you can simply update these dates in Elevate, and you're good to go!
