We are happy to say that after much development and listening to librarian feedback, Talis Aspire now offers editable Settings. These include language, branding, and importance changes for your Talis Aspire tenancy. This means administrators will now be able to edit these items from within the Talis Aspire Reading List system. These Settings are currently in beta until May 31st, 2024. During this time, we strongly encourage you to raise any feedback you have about the new setting console.
Basics
Location
You can find all your self-service settings under the "Admin" tab in your Talis Aspire tenancy. Self-service will be the word "Settings" at the very bottom:
After clicking on "Settings", you will be taken to a page with three categories: "Branding", "Languages", and "Importances". Each category has a separate support article, linked below. Here is what this screen should look like:
Permissions
Because this is located under "Admin" tasks, typically only users with the System Administrator role will have access to "Settings" as the default. However, the ability to edit "Settings" is now included as a permission. If you'd like other user roles to include the ability to access and edit the self-service area, please raise a support ticket and let us know. To learn more about roles and permissions, please visit this support article: What is a role and what is a permission.
