How to identify who has published a list

Introduction

There may be occasions when you need to identify who has published a change to a list. The following is a step-by-step method for gaining this information in Talis Aspire Reading Lists (TARL).

How to identify

Step 1: Update the URL:

  • from: https://rl.talis.com/3/broadminster/lists/EB13150E-D368-D6ED-7195-418330FED927.html?lang=en
  • Into: http://broadminster.rl.talis.com/lists/EB13150E-D368-D6ED-7195-418330FED927.json  -- note that this URL has taken the shortcode (broadminster) and placed it at the start of the address and removed the "/3/" element from the address.

Step 2: Change the .html to .json

For example: http://broadminster.rl.talis.com/lists/EB13150E-D368-D6ED-7195-418330FED927.json

Step 3: In the output, search for lastPublished and publishedBy.

By clicking on the URL of the user, you will be taken you to their profile so you can identify who has made the changes to the published list.
