Edit request - Talis Aspire Digitised Content

Introduction

We have introduced an improvement to Talis Aspire Digitised Content (TADC) to allow the editing of live requests to correct errors or missing metadata.

You are now able to update:

• Book/Journal titles
• Book authors
• Section/Article titles
• Section/Article authors
• Publisher
• Article start/end pages
• Edition
• Book year of publication

All other metadata needs to be checked for copy limit and should be changed using the Replace Request functionality as documented in this article Replace request - Talis Aspire Digitised Content

To edit a request, simply hover over the element you wish to edit and click, make the change and click the tick to save the change.

NEW (June 2017) - You are also able to edit the requester's name and email address

Completing missing data

To complete a missing field hover over the field and then click on the 'Empty' value to open the edit function, add the missing metadata and click the tick to save the change.

Hovering over the name and email address gives you the ability to edit the requester, ideal for those late course owner changes to be reflected.
