When a user first creates a profile in Talis Aspire Digitised Content (TADC), their account needs to be approved by an administrator. Everyone who has Admin permissions to TADC will receive an email with the requestors email address along with a approve link.
As well as following the link you are emailed, within your TADC tenancy, systems administrators have the option to approve users selecting 'admin' and 'users'. Here, you can authorise a user when they are activated in the system.
We have removed the option to reject the user from the email. If it is a user you do not want to approve simply ignore the request, as this user is not 'Activated'.
If you do want to approve a user, you can select the action menu to 'Activate user' and 'Make admin' if required. See screenshot:
Once activated you can deactivate a user at any time using the same action menu.
