How to export a reading list as a RIS file

Introduction

This article explains how to export a reading list from Talis Aspire Reading Lists (TARL) as a Research Information Systems (RIS) file. This RIS file can be imported into your reference management tool, or used to add bulk resources to your 'My bookmarks' area and even create a new reading list.

How to export a reading list in RIS format

  1. You will see a 'View and Export' button at the top of a list. Click on that and select 'RIS'.
  2. This saves a RIS file of the reading list to your computer.
